OIL & GAS

Problem: The company did not have real-time information for many of its operational processes such as tank levels, inventory, demand activity, etc. This information was distributed in multiple systems (SAP, own systems, manual entries, etc.) and the plant and operations managers relied on manual and inefficient processes to gather incomplete operation status information. Solution and benefits: Automation of five internal processes (tank control, inventory, restitution, management, cylinders, trucks outside/inside the plant) with the goal of producing information available in real-time in control panels. This solution allowed management to have real-time visibility of its operational processes and key performance indicators. Currently, plant and operation managers have real-time information that previously took 24/48 hours to access.
